IN FOCUS DVD: Shoot Summary
On Oct. 14, 15 & 16 we shot the footage for
the 'In Focus' DVDs. Brad Scott, the videographer, came from Canada.
Nicole Levesque came from Clean Run's office to help organize
& assist. We shot at home on Friday, including recording all the
narration. Then we drove to Erie PA to Countryside Agility to
shoot on Saturday & Sunday.
We had planned a run-thru for Saturday morning
so that we could get shots of a variety of dogs & handlers working.
We ended up with 30 types/breeds of dogs! We then had a workshop
for some of those handlers on Saturday afternoon. Sunday morning
was our Foundation workshop for young dogs, puppies, and those
needing to strengthen basic skills. Sunday afternoon was spent
setting up shots with our own dogs.
We would like to thank Denise Thomas for the
use of her facility. It looked wonderful! Can't wait to see it
on tape. We would also like to thank Michele Dalin for organizing
the run-thru & workshops. We couldn't have done it without Michele.
JoAnna Smith was a great help. She started out as a gofer & dog
wrangler, but ended up as a very competent camera assistant.
And finally, thanks to everyone that participated
in the shoot. We appreciate you helping us accumulate footage,
especially knowing we may show your mistakes! You were all very
good sports and very accomodating.
We ended up with enough footage for 3 DVDs (depending
on final packaging decisions). We are anticipating a Foundation
Focus, a Need for Speed Focus, and a Crying for Control Focus
DVD. We haven't seen any footage yet, watch for announcements
here and from Clean Run.
